Morning and night skincare aren’t two different lifestyles. They’re two different jobs. Morning is about defense against UV, pollution, sweat, and stress. Night is about clearing the slate and supporting recovery.
In the morning, protect what you’ve got. At night, reset and repair.
MORNING PROTECTION
If you wake up with your skin feeling normal, sometimes a rinse can be enough. If you’re oily, you sweat overnight, or you worked out, start with a gentle cleanser.
After cleansing, moisturize for comfort and barrier support and apply an SPF as the final step, always
SPF is the everyday essential. If your routine collapses to one step in the morning, let it be SPF.
Optional in the morning: antioxidant treatments (like a vitamin C serum) if your skin tolerates them. This can be helpful for targeted treatment, but don't consider it a mandatory.
NIGHTLY RESET
Night is where cleansing really matters. You’re removing SPF, grime, and the day’s buildup. Then moisturizer goes on as the comfort layer, keeping skin from feeling tight, dry, or reactive.
Treatments belong here, but again, they’re optional. If you use them, rotate instead of stacking. Think 2–4 nights per week of a targeted treatment like a retinol serum, not maximum intensity applications every night.
The Bottom Line
AM protects. PM repairs. Keep the core simple, then add only what your skin actually needs.
